Dussault Award Winner
SPRC is pleased to announce the 2005 Dussault Award winning project, the Michael Anderson Memorial Statue Fund, a wonderful community-wide memorial endeavor. The presentation encompasses a biography of Michael Anderson the man, the son, the father, and the astronaut. Then explores the idea for the statue and the community grass-root fundraising effort. Finally, practitioners will examine the communication planning, staffing, execution, and evaluation of the 18-month campaign.
The presentation will be given by three Anderson Campaign committee members; Happy Watkins, Pastor for New Hope Baptist Church, Anne Marie Axworthy, Director of Community Development for Avista, and Jessie Wuerst, Communications Manager for Avista.

We invite everyone to see this award winning project, which is a reflection of the outstanding Public Relations work going on in the Spokane community.
