Engage your Community through Video with Rogue Heart Media's Megan Kennedy and Rob Kennedy

We all know that storytelling is a powerful way that people can connect. More than ever, video is expected in digital marketing, and in many ways it is becoming accessible to a point where there are few good reasons why an organization shouldn't utilize video in their marketing plan. When we think of our audiences as communities, where communication is two-way and where building on genuine interest and growing to eventual "brand love" is the goal, video becomes less intimidating and a more natural step for online engagement.

From cell phone video and going live, to edited collections of diverse video assets, Rob and Megan from Rogue Heart will share tips for approaching the medium of video internally or with a creative partner to compliment your overall marketing goals.

 

About Megan Kennedy

Megan is an award-winning photographer and videographer with over 14 years of video production experience, from directing and editing national PSA campaigns to producing feature-length documentaries.  She also leads Rogue Heart's photography services, specializing in portraiture and commercial photography. Megan believes deeply in the value of community involvement, and dedicates her volunteer time to EWI of Spokane, the North Monroe Business District, and City of Spokane committees that impact her neighborhood.

 

 

About Rob Kennedy

Rob has 16 years of experience in information technology, from traditional programming and leading a department at a prominent international software company to more nontraditional roles integrating technology into new industries. He is also a Marketing Practitioner and is committed to the Rogue Heart mission of creating Media that Matters; helping clients establish relevant KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and measuring the impact and success of campaigns.
